Make-A-Wish helps Tennessee teen turn dirt bike dream into Sherco reality
Nathaniel, 19, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, was battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) when he qualified for a wish through Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee. His choice was a dirt bike.

That wish changed after Nathaniel and his family attended Loretta Lynn’s Spring Trail Ride, where he met Sherco United States owner James Jordan. After learning more about the brand and its motorcycles, Nathaniel decided he wanted a Sherco specifically.
Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee worked with Sherco United States to secure the motorcycle. Nathaniel and his family then traveled to Sherco’s U.S. facility in Bono, Arkansas, where he picked up his new SE 300 Factory and toured the operation.
The experience allowed Nathaniel to meet the people behind the brand and learn more about the motorcycle he had chosen.
“We were incredibly honored that Nathaniel chose Sherco for his wish,” Jordan says. “When I first met Nathaniel at Loretta Lynn’s, I could see how much motorcycles meant to him.”
The story comes at an important point in Nathaniel’s recovery. He is now cancer-free, and his new motorcycle represents an opportunity to look ahead to riding and new adventures.

“Make-A-Wish exists to create life-changing experiences for children with critical illnesses, and Nathaniel’s story is a beautiful example of the impact a wish can have,” says Shelley Freeman, director of programs for Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee.
For Sherco, the experience also provided an opportunity to connect directly with a young rider and his family. Nathaniel now has the dirt bike he wished for, and a Sherco SE 300 Factory ready for the next chapter.
