Honda auctions special edition bodywork, proceeds to help brain tumor research
With the 2026 SuperMotocross season in the books, Honda Racing Corporation will be auctioning one-of-a-kind bodywork used by the HRC team at round 2 of the SMX series.

Honda is teaming up with the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation in an effort to raise money and spread awareness by auctioning one-off motorcycle bodywork parts that feature artwork autographed by HRC racers Hunter Lawrence, Jett Lawrence, Jo Shimoda and Chance Hymas. The bodywork features special artwork from members of the Imaginary Friends Society, a cast of cartoon characters who help children better understand discussions around cancer.
The initiative is just the latest example in a decades-long history of collaboration between Honda and the PBTF. The partnership started with the Ride for Kids program, a series of motorcycle events that has grown into a nationwide movement.
“This is the third year in a row that Honda HRC Progressive has collaborated with the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation at a SuperMotocross round, and the riders and team truly look forward to it every season,” says Brandon Wilson, manager of racing and experiential marketing at American Honda.
The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation’s mission is fighting childhood brain cancer and, since it launched in 1991, has raised more than $65 million to support research.
