New LEGO set inspired by Ducati’s Desmo450
Two iconic brands, Ducati and LEGO, are teaming up to bring together the excitement of off-road motorcycle riding into the world of building with the LEGO Technic Ducati Desmo450 MX Factory set.
The LEGO-Ducati collaboration began in 2020 with a replica of the Panigale V4 R. This year, the Desmo450 MX Factory — Ducati’s first motocross bike — will serve as the replica model.
The LEGO Technic model is directly inspired by the original motorcycle and includes working steering, a chain-driven engine connected to the rear axle, and functioning front and rear suspension, letting builders explore the mechanical principles behind how a motorcycle works.
The 457-piece set gives enthusiasts aged 10 and up a way to discover the Ducati world through LEGO building. Thanks to the LEGO Builder app, builders can also explore the model in 3D, rotate it, zoom in on details and follow the different assembly steps.
The LEGO Technic Ducati Desmo450 MX Factory set is priced at $44.99 and is available on LEGO.com and through major retailers.
The Desmo450 MX Factory is part of Ducati’s off-road range, which currently includes five models: the Desmo450 MX, Desmo450 MX Factory and Desmo250 MX for motocross, the Desmo450 EDS for specialist enduro riding and the Desmo450 SM for supermotard.
