City officials give early thumbs-up to GNCC race in town: report

In a unanimous 5-0 vote on Tuesday, the Bowling Green City Commission approved a land lease agreement that will bring the Grand National Cross Country Racing Series to the city May 16-17.

The event will feature dirt bike and ATV races on tracks to be built by SK Powersports. The local stop would be the seventh on a national 13-leg tour.
