State’s ATV registrations pass 38,000

After having more than 17,000 ATVs registered with the state in 2009, that number has now exceeded 38,000, with a report saying more states, counties and municipalities are opening public roads for ATV use.

The report on ArgusLeader.com out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, notes that the 114 percent increase in ATV registrations in that period compares to a 17 percent increase in the number of other vehicles registered.
