Harley-Davidson joined the roster of official sponsors alongside America’s Navy, GoPro, Jeep ® brand and Monster Energy for X Games Aspen, which tool place over the weekend in Aspen Snowmass, Colo., with live coverage on ESPN and ABC.
Additional sponsors include DuPont™ Kevlar®, Microsoft Lumia, Oakley, Polaris, Skype and 7UP TEN, which is participating in the event for the first time this year.
After a competition-packed 2014 season, more than 100 Olympic athletes returned to Aspen to compete for X Games gold and prize money. In addition to witnessing the talents of the world’s best, X Games Aspen featured four festival villages that blended globally recognized and award-winning musical artists, including Snoop Dogg, Chromeo, Skrillex and Wiz Khalifa with interactive gaming, photo booths and more.
Elements presented as part of sponsor packages included on-site activations as well as rights to official marks and logos. Additionally, select sponsors received a media presence during the event telecasts, prominent positions across digital and social X Games platforms along with VIP hospitality experiences on site.
The Harley-Davidson JUMPSTART was on site, allowing fans to shift through the gears and experience the attitude and performance of the Harley-Davidson Street 750. The display also provided an opportunity for fans to enter a sweepstakes giveaway for a 2016 motorcycle. In addition, the company presented a Harley-Davidson Street 750 motorcycle to the winner of the Harley-Davidson Most Outstanding Performance award, which is given to the athlete who exhibits performance excellence and demonstrates courage to push boundaries and bring a new element to the X Games.
ABC will deliver four hours of anthology programming on Sunday, January 31, and a one-hour special on World of X Games: Best of Aspen on February 7.
