Online classified site touts major inventory

BoatsandCycles.com, an online resource for buying and selling new and pre-owned powersports units and owned by Dealer Spike parent Jast Companies out of Oregon, has launched.

The website claims to have the world’s largest inventory of boats, motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles, personal watercraft, RVs and more. An email marketing promotion from the company states that the site has more than 100,000 units listed nationwide.

Dealers are encouraged to list their pre-owned inventory on the site. Viewers can then browse used units by segment, and a list of that segment’s dealers by state is provided. For example, a search of motorcycle dealers in California with pre-owned units for sale shows 356 dealers in California.

Private sellers who use the site to post an ad receive free unlimited photos and free unlimited text. Dealers are eligible for a free trial. Auto-import listings are available for most dealer websites, the company says.
