KTM unveils three-wheel electric concept car

KTM unveiled its electric three-wheel vehicle concept last week, a two-seater that is fully electric and constructed of plastic. Autrian OEM KTM created the vehicle in conjunction with the Austrian Institute of Technology.

According to a report on caradvice.com/au, KTM says the E3W was designed to be an environmentally friendly means of transportation that’s also ideal on small city streets and high congestion areas. Caradvice.com/au also reports that KTM hopes to put it on the market in 2013, manufacturing a fleet of 50,000 per year.

Photos of the car can be seen here.
