Michael Lock, former CEO of Ducati North America, will join THINK, a company focused on the technology of electric vehicles, as chief marketing officer.
Beginning Aug. 9, Lock will run global marketing and strategy, along with directing all brand and commercial development operations.
Lock spent the past several years in management positions within Ducati. During his seven years as CEO of Ducati North America, he oversaw the restructuring of the company and product distribution. He also helped restore profitability and take sales volume and market share to record levels, the release stated. Under Lock, Ducati received the Top Brand in Customer Satisfaction (USA) award in 2009, awarded by Pied Piper, a company that helps dealers measure and improve the effectiveness of their sales process.
Lock has also been involved with Hondo Motor Europe, Triumph Motorcycles USA and Triumph Motorcycles UK in senior marketing and brand development positions.
