BMW’s worldwide motorcycle sales rose in October

BMW’s worldwide motorcycle sales increased by close to 12 percent in October over the year-ago month, the company reported.

BMW sold 7,714 new units in October compared to 6,907 a year ago.

For the year through October, the German manufacturer has sold 88,464 new motorcycles, a slight 1.4 percent dip from a year ago.

Results for North America for October or year-to-date were not available.
