Arctic Cat’s net earnings rise in its second quarter
Increased PG&A sales helped Arctic Cat grow its net earnings in its second quarter, the company reported Thursday.
Arctic Cat’s quarterly PG&A sales rose 12 percent to $34.3 million in its second quarter, which ended Sept. 30. The company reported quarterly net earnings of $16.9 million, a 21.5 percent rise over the year-ago period.
Arctic Cat’s overall quarterly revenue was down slightly at $204.3 million, a less than 1 percent drop from the year-ago period. The company’s ATV sales decreased 8 percent but its snowmobile revenue rose 1 percent over the year-ago quarter.
