Creditors seek to force American IronHorse into Chapter 11 bankruptcy

Three creditors have filed a petition to force American V-twin manufacturer American IronHorse into Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

The paperwork was filed in the U.S. Northern District of Texas federal bankruptcy court on Feb. 29.

The three Dallas-area creditors say IronHorse owes them a total of $120,000. Attempts at reaching IronHorse executives were unsuccessful Friday.

As recently as two years ago, IronHorse was one of the largest U.S. manufacturers of V-twin custom motorcycles.
