Rhino Outdoor International acquires Yamabuggy

Rhino Outdoor International (ROI), which operates outdoor activity based businesses, announced it has acquired YamaBuggy Sales and Distribution through a share exchange agreement, according to ROI’s press release.

YamaBuggy has the exclusive North American distribution rights for the side-by-side, off-road buggy, and ROI will immediately begin receiving revenue from sales. More than 300 vehicles have been sold through a nationwide dealer network in 2007.

The Yamaha JV factory manufactures the vehicle, and it has a four-stroke, 400cc engine.

ROI CEO/President Howard Pearl says the YamaBuggy has big growth potential.

“This is a major step in our strategic plan to develop products and services that appeal to the growing market of outdoor oriented consumers,” Pearl said in the release.
