No Takers So Far On Polaris’ Duel
Earlier this week, Powersports Business reported Polaris CEO Tom Tiller challenged the CEOs of the other major ATV manufacturers to a head-to-head competition to settle which manufacturer builds the toughest ATVs.
Polaris hired Pro-Motion Motorsports, LLC, the company that builds and designs EnduroCross tracks, to build a track, purchase and certify the ATVs that will compete, officiate the event and declare a winner.
Although readily seen and heard by its intended recipients, the gauntlet — laid down in the form of a commercial airing on Ehlert Publishing Group’s ATVSport.com and ATVMag.com — has largely gone unanswered so far.
When Powersports Business tried to reach the major ATV manufacturers, two indicated they are not ready to officially respond. Attempts to reach other OEMs have gone unanswered at press time.
