Kolpin Recalls 90cc ATVs
Kolpin Powersports, Inc. says it is recalling its 90cc Youth All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) sold prior to Nov. 24, 2004.
The Fox Lake, Wisc. company says there is a risk that some of the ATVs have steering assembly components that may prematurely loosen, resulting in loss of steering and posing a risk of serious injury or death.
Taiwan-made, the Kolpin brand ATVs, available as 50cc and 90cc models, are sold at Gander Mountain stores across the country. The 90cc model retails for $1,799.
Kolpin asks that owners stop using the ATVs immediately. The company has instructed owners to contact their retailer for a free retrofit with new components.

I am considering puting a used 2004 Kolpin 90cc ATV. If the recall work has not yet been done on it, is it still possible to get it done? Do you know how to go about doing that? Thanks.
Buying, not puting…
