ATV Units Hold Profit Margins

Even though unit sales of new ATVs were flat through the first six months of 2004, profit per unit remained strong at Top Gun dealers across the country. Profit per new ATV in July was $764, up from $692 in July 2003. However, it was off from the $801 per unit posted in June.
Profit per new motorcycle was $1,133, down slightly from $1,151 last July. In June, profit per new motorcycle was $1,202, up from $1,145 recorded in June 2003.
