Focus: Dealer Expo 2004
If you do a lot of V-twin business at your dealership, you’ll probably want to visit the RCA Dome this year during the Dealer Expo. It’ll be special because it’ll be dedicated to the V-twin business.
Launched two years ago as a show within a show, Big Twin East has moved out on its own. It’s evolved into a complete and separate event for 2004. Offering a full range of amenities, provided exclusively for Big Twin exhibitors and attendees, Big Twin East will occupy the entire stadium floor of the RCA Dome.
The exhibit area is expected to be similar to the fourth annual three-day V-Twin Expo held in Cincinnati Jan. 29, but on a smaller scale.
Big Twin East 2004 will feature close to 170 exhibitors, according to show management. These exhibitors include the owners, product development teams, engineers and sales staff of some of the industry’s hottest products.
Big Twin East attendees also can attend the Dealer Expo 2004 which will run concurrently in the adjacent Indianapolis Convention Center.
The Big Twin is managed by Advanstar, the company that produces the Dealer Expo.
“Not only is Big Twin East in a completely stand-alone environment in the RCA Dome,” says Tracy Harris, general manager of Advanstar’s Powersports Group, “but it also has its own registration, cafe and other attendee services this year.”
While both shows are now “separate and equal,” according to Harris, visitors will be able to move between the two as if they were one.
Big Twin East is a trade-only event for the motorcycle aftermarket company who does business exclusively or predominately in the American-made lifestyle segment.
