NPA adds inventory space in the northeast
National Powersport Auctions is tripling the inventory of its Philadelphia branch with a move to a new warehouse.
Only a year after expanding into the northeastern U.S. with its fifth location, NPA has announced that it will move to a larger facility, which happens to be adjacent to the current location.
The new building, located at 2578 Pearl Buck Road in Bristol, Pennsylvania, gives NPA 112,000 square feet of space — three times larger than its 37,000 square-foot previous building.
According to marketing director Ryan Keefe, NPA planned to expand the facility in year three, but the company outgrew its initial space within the first eight months of opening.
“Our concept was to get there, get our foot in the door, make sure the demand was there and move up,” Keefe said. “It was initially a three-year plan instead of a one-year plan, but it’s a good problem to have.”
He added that the larger facility would allow NPA to host 1,000-1,500 units for their monthly auctions — a similar volume to that of their five other locations.
“We’ve had buyers asking for more product. The dealers are telling us that they have the ability to buy more product and the need for it as well, so this will definitely help that situation out,” Keefe added. “We’re looking forward to filling up the floor space.”
NPA was scheduled to host a grand opening celebration at its April 11 live auction.
