4th record sales year in a row for KTM

Mattighofen, Austria-based KTM announced record sales for the fourth consecutive year. Unit sales of KTM and Husqvarna were 158,760 units, an increase of 28.2 percent from 2014. Revenue increased to 864.6 million Euro ($979.4 million), a 20.7 percent increase. Also, the company now employs 2,143, an increase of 294 from 2013 and an all-time high number of employees.

In 2014, KTM invested 85 million Euro ($96.2 million) in its Mattighofen and Munderfing facilities, an increase of 46.6 percent compared to 2013.

KTM-owned Husqvarna also posted a record sales of 16,337 motorcycles sold in 2014. Sales figures of more than 100 million Euro ($113.2 million) in 2014 also set a record for the 111-year-old company. Nearly 6,000 Husqvarna motocross bikes sold worldwide as the brand restarted in that segment.
