Arctic Cat dealers seeing ‘strong demand’ for Wildcat, analyst says

Arctic Cat dealer checks in eight key states by Feltl and Company analyst Mark E. Smith shows that “there is still strong demand for the Wildcat and dealers have been happy with sales,” according to a research note provided to Powersports Business. “Arctic Cat has effectively managed supply to dealers and we have not seen any shortfalls or building inventories. We have not heard any major complaints about the product, which is impressive given the first year of manufacturing.”

Smith goes on to report that now that “Arctic Cat has a platform to work from, we expect a four-seater and other variations which will boost sales.”

Smith ends the report by reiterating Feltl’s “BUY” rating and says that Arctic Cat “may see increased sales in the second generation of the product as many consumers are leery of buying a new product and want any bugs worked out first. Overall we think Arctic Cat has experienced strong sales of Wildcats through the June quarter.”
