Dealership moving into mall holds job fair

Johnny K’s Powersports, which will open a new location in a former Macy’s in the Midway Mall in Elyria, Ohio sometime this summer, recently hosted a job fair to fill positions, according to a report from The Morning Journal News.

Argie Makroglou, chief financial officer of Johnny K’s, said the Elyria location will be the company’s biggest out of their four current locations. Its other locations are in Brook Park, Burbank and Niles, where there are two.

The Brookpark facility will move to Elyria and is looking to employ over 10 different positions to assist with power sport equipment, parts and service, Makroglou said.

The Elyria Johnny K’s is looking for managerial positions in service, sales and parts, as well as technicians, service writers, parts liaisons, merchandising staff and sales representatives. Owner John Kalogerou said the company is planning to hire between 20 and 25 employees.
