OEM sells HQ for $44 million

Kawasaki Motors Corp. USA has sold its Irvine, Calif., headquarters, though it plans to remain in the building as a tenant of the new owner.

The 262,463-square-foot facility was sold to Bixby Land Co. for $44.25 million, reported the Los Angeles Times. Bixby plans to invest $20 million into the property for extensive redevelopment to attract tenants in creative fields.
