Tennessee lawmaker drops sponsorship of lane-splitting bill

Republican Sen. Joey Hensley of Hohenwald, according to the Knoxville News Sentinel, withdrew a proposal that would allow motorcyclists in Tennessee to ride between slow-moving cars.

As it stands, California remains the only state to allow motorcycles to travel between traffic lanes.
