PSB reveals November hot products

Powersports Business has shared aftermarket products released from BRP, Moose, Jack Wolfskin, KLIM, Yoshimura, and Pirelli.

BRP snowmobile handguard system

BRP has introduced a snowmobile handguard system that incorporates LED lighting that can be used to signal on-coming riders. Riding past on-coming traffic is safer with the handguard system. Rider’s hands remain on the handlebar as they use the LED light to inform others of what to expect behind them rather than using hand signals. This system is especially useful on tight windy trails, allowing riders to focus on navigating their snowmobile and maintain peace of mind that they are effectively informing fellow riders for everyone’s safety.

The system uses a four-mode dash-mounted switch to change colors on the left handguard where white is the default signature look, amber signals ‘caution – riders behind me,’ and green signals ‘last sled in the group’ or ‘single rider’. Riders can also engage dual flashing amber lights to signal ‘caution hazardous situation’ or ‘beware – I’m stopped’.

The system is an easy plug and play installation on Ski-Doo models featuring the REV Gen5 platform and REV Gen4 platforms with the addition of the 8602002740 retrofit harness. BRP strives to improve rider safety and by 2025, the company will introduce signaling systems for all Ski-Doo models. The LED handguard system is listed at $179.99

Moose Air Intake Helmet

Moose Utility Division and Moose Racing have released the Air Intake Helmet, designed to be used with most Fresh Air Pumper systems. The helmet prevents dust from entering and keeps clean air in. The helmet features a scratch-resistant polycarbonate shield, a fully removable moisture-wicking liner, and cheek pads. The shell is injection molded ABS compliant with ECE 22.06 and DOT. Sizes range from XS to 2X with a suggested retail price of $149.95.

Alpspitze Wool Pants
The men’s and women’s Alpspitze Wool Pants are a great base layer for winter sports. Featuring breathable, fast-drying merino wool, the pants provide warmth and optimal temperature regulation. The ¾-length offers maximum comfort with boots. The MSRP is listed at $89.95.

Alpspitze Wool Long Sleeve
The men’s and women’s snug-fitting Alpspitze Wool Long Sleeve features breathable, fast-drying merino wool. The top base layer provides reliable warmth and temperature regulation. The natural fibers also have antibacterial and odor-resistant properties. The long sleeve MSRP is $119.95.

Alpspitze Insulated Hybrid
The men’s and women’s Alpspitze base layer jacket is lightweight, breathable, windproof, water-resistant, and allows absolute ventilation. Featuring Pertex Quantum Air, the lightweight fabric allows moisture and heat to escape while preventing wind from permeating the fabric. Primaloft Gold, extremely lightweight insulation with four-way stretch, insulates in the front and back panels – making this jacket ideal for high-output activities. The Insulated Hybrid Jacket MSRP is $249.95.

KLIM Adrenaline Pro S GTX BOA Boot

KLIM has redesigned the Adrenaline Pro S GTX BOA Boot, a mountain-focused technical snowmobile boot for the most aggressive riders. 

The new boot features a complete ground-up redesign, a new custom-developed Michelin outsole, the convenience, ease, and compression of a dual-zone remote dial BOA system, and improved lace routing for added comfort on the running boards. The MSRP is $399.99.

Yoshimura 2024 Kawasaki KLX300R RS-2 Exhaust

Yoshimura paired its RS-2 muffler with the Kawasaki KLX300R mid-size trail bike. With the RS-2 slip-on, the 300R produces a power increase of 4 percent at max horsepower and 4.2 percent max torque. When installing the RS-2, 3.5 pounds were removed from the rear end of the KLX300R.

The RS-2 Enduro Series slip-on comes with a pre-installed USFS Spark Arrestor.

Pirelli SCORPION Trail III tire

Pirelli has released the SCORPION Trail III enduro street tire, developed for maxi enduros. The tire is completing its final and rigorous outdoor tests and will be on sale to the public starting in January 2024.

The Pirelli SCORPION Trail III presents an aggressive tread design and strong technological innovation. The new tire guarantees significantly improved road handling and sportier behavior thanks to excellent grip, as well as better performance in the wet. The SCORPION Trail III ensures stability even with a full load and can best interact with the machine’s electronic systems. Abrasion resistance has been significantly improved, which is an important parameter for those who love venturing on dirt roads.

The target machines of the SCORPION TRAIL III are those starting from medium displacements and above (over 400cc), which are fitted with 19- or 21-inch front tires; motorcycles capable of tackling long journeys and excursions with light off-road sections. During 2024, 17-inch front and rear equipment dedicated to crossovers will also complete the range.
