S&S Cycle now a WMDRA sponsor
The Western Motorcycle Drag Racing Association (WMDRA) announced that S&S Cycle is the Pro Gas sponsor for the 2013 AMSOIL Sturgis Nationals, set for Aug. 5-7 during the 73rd Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
In recognition of the 10th anniversary of the S&S T124 engine, and as part of the company’s 55th anniversary celebration, S&S Cycle will award the Pro Gas winner a Special Edition of the S&S T124 long-block motor.
“Drag racing has always been a proving ground for performance, and S&S has been a recognized leader in the V-twin high performance parts business for 55 years. We just couldn’t ask for a more perfect partner,” WMDRA president Sandra Alberti said.
“The WMDRA’s passion for speed and S&S Cycle’s history of proven performance is a winning combination,” added S&S race department manager Steve Rominski.
