Metric manufacturers keep U.S. September exports at near 2007 levels
Metric motorcycle manufacturers exported roughly the same amount of new bikes into the United States in September as the previous year period.
That was reported by the Japanese Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA), which includes Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki and Suzuki.
In September, 41,111 motorcycles were exported into the United States, a less than 1 percent drop from the year-ago period.
For Canada, JAMA members exported 3,783 new bikes there, a drop of nearly 9.5 percent compared to the previous year.
