Clarification on manufacturer with highest production levels
Honda Motor Corp. reached a new high in 2006 for its global production of motorcycles and ATVs, with 12.5 million. The record production amounted to a 3 percent increase over 2005.
Honda’s production level is well above the amount produced by China South, a Chinese state-owned automobile company a Chinese news agency recently said was the world’s largest motorcycle producer. China South reportedly produces about 5 million units per year.
