A relatively new trio of mid-range motorcycles has helped boost Aprilia’s early season sales for its U.S. motorcycle market, Paolo Timoni, CEO of Piaggio Group Americas, told Powersports Business.
Thanks in part to the additions of the Shiver 750, Mana 850 and Dorsoduro 750, Aprilia’s motorcycle sales for January and February were up 44 percent over the prior-year period, Timoni said.
“Our numbers our still very small,” he said of Aprilia’s retail sales, before adding, “we have positive momentum. We our very happy not only with our motorscooter business, but also with our motorcycle business.”
All three mid-range Aprilia motorcycles were introduced to the U.S. market last year.Click here for reuse options!
