European OEM sets annual production record
As of Tuesday, Dec. 16, 100,000 motorcycles had been produced by KTM AG’s Mattighofen, Austria, factory in 2014 — a record for the OEM.
The 100,000th bike produced in 2014 was a 2015 KTM 1190 Adventure, which rolled off the assembly line at 9 a.m. local time. Since 1999, when production began at that facility, KTM has produced 1.2 million motorcycles.
