Record sales for OEM during first 9 months of year

Mattinghofen, Austria-based KTM AG sold 115,731 KTM and Husqvarna motorcycles during the first three months of the year to post record sales and revenue results. Unit sales rose 29.1 percent, with revenue of 664.8 million euros, up 20.4 percent compared to the 2013 period.

KTM noted the launch of the new 1290 SuperDuke and the sales start of the Husqvarna model range were crucial to the company’s success. KTM has achieved a market share of 8.4 percent in Europe, the company said.
