Polaris ACE boosts an ‘April good at retail,’ analyst reports

Polaris experienced an April that was “good at retail including a very strong start for ACE” with improvements in Europe, according to a research note provided to Powersports Business by Wells Fargo Securities analyst Tim Conder.

Following a meeting with Polaris chairman and CEO Scott Wine, Conder reports that “management’s tone remained decidedly upbeat.”

Conder adds that Polaris “expects ORV share growth and ACE will be additive above this.”

Polaris will continue to add only “A” dealers, targeting 250-300 in the top 100 North American MSAs (Metropolitan Statistical Areas). Conder report that Indian wholesale units will be equal to that of Victory over the next 12-24 months, and that the Victory dealer count of 450 is sufficient.
