Dirt bike burglaries hit three dealerships

In the past week, three Milwaukee-area powersports dealerships have been broken into and dirt bikes were stolen from least two of them, according to a report from WISN.

Police said the three people broke into Southeast Sales Powersports just south of 76th Street and Good Hope Road early Monday morning. They got away with three bikes, which were recovered right away.

The store’s owner, John Erdmann, told WISN 12 News two more shops were broken into Friday morning.

“Unfortunately, the bikes don’t require a key,” Erdmann said. “They don’t require anything. They just put gas in them, start them, and go.”
