Polaris calls for audit of Australia’s market data
Polaris Australia and New Zealand has called for an independent audit of the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI) in Australia, Australia’s Farm Weekly reported.
Peter Alexander, managing director of Polaris Australia and New Zealand, said Polaris found inaccuracies in data the FCAI reported in June. He reported that the OEM has been asking for an independent audit for years. Polaris’ first half sales were up 41 percent in the region, the OEM reported. Polaris says it has at 68.1 percent share of the side-by-side market in Australia with a 45.5 percent share of the big bore ATV market.
