New dealership in store

Harley-Davidson of Fargo in North Dakota recently released details about the dealership it plans to build on nearly 10 acres of open land off Interstate 94 in West Fargo. The new 25,000-square-foot facility, which can be seen from the interstate, will have room for seven technicians and a dyno machine, reported Prairie Business. The outdoor space has room for a potential riding range for Rider’s Academy in the future. Building plans still have to move through the Fargo City Commission before the eight-month build can began. Co-owner Jim Entenman says he hopes to have the new facility open no later than May 1, 2015. 

Anything with a VIN#

Quaid Harley-Davidson Loma Linda recently sent out an e-newsletters informing customers that the dealership would take trades of boats, RVs, trucks, dirt bikes, quads, cars and more. The message was that customers could trade in “Anything with a VIN#.”

Eastside Harley-Davidson 20th anniversary

Eastside Harley-Davidson in Bellevue, Wash., celebrated its 20th anniversary from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 7. The event included food, live music, carnival games, RC racing, a cash cube, prizes and giveaways.

57th Open House

Koup’s Cycle Shop Inc. in Harrisburg, Pa., hosted its 57th annual Open House on Saturday, June 7. The 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. event included free dyno runs, an open pit BBQ lunch, live music by Chaos, demo rides, $15 state inspections, exclusive specials, vendor representatives on site, giveaways, a Facebook picture contents and an Arai rep on hand with giveaways and Arai specials.

New Master tech hired

Indian and Triumph of the Twin Cities in Minnesota has hired Level 5 Master Tech Joe R, who specializes in older engine repair. The dealership also is adding classic cars and hot rods to its First Tuesday Bike Night events from May 6-Oct. 7. Free pizza for attendees.
