ADP Lightspeed expands client development with new director of learning
News release
ADP Lightspeed, a division of ADP and a leading provider of dealer management solutions for Powersports, Marine, Marina and RV industries, is proud to announce the hiring of Todd Smith as the Director of Learning & Development, a new department within ADP Lightspeed. This strategic move furthers ADP Lightspeed’s commitment to providing its dealers with best practices and ways to improve their businesses. Todd will work out of the ADP Lightspeed headquarters in Salt Lake City, UT and report to ADP Lightspeed’s General Manager, Greg Smith.
Todd comes to ADP with an extensive background in employee and end-user learning systems and has a proven history of establishing programs to increase learning and knowledge retention. Before joining ADP, he worked with American Express as the Global Director of Learning & Performance of Business Travel. Todd will strive to enhance ADP Lightspeed’s training efforts with a focus on learning standardization and assessment, in order to provide dealers with consistent, high-quality learning and training opportunities.
“We are thrilled to have Todd join the ADP Lightspeed family,” said Greg Smith. “We see a need for more than just dealership training classes, but rather dealership learning solutions that meet our dealers where they are.” Greg Smith notes that with the combination of the agreement with Dealership University, the addition of Todd Smith, and the new Learning & Development department, ADP Lightspeed dealers have better learning opportunities available to them now than they ever did before. “Todd will do great things here at ADP Lightspeed in helping dealerships within all our markets see the benefits in developing best practices,” Greg Smith said.
“I am eager to see our dealers succeed by learning and optimizing the ADP Lightspeed software,” said Todd. “By investing in learning, ADP Lightspeed has led the way for dealers to increase their sales, customer retention and employee satisfaction.”
