Update On Broc Tickle
Official Statement From RCH Racing Soaring Eagle
March 25, 2014 — RCH Racing Soaring Eagle’s Broc Tickle suffered an accident while in practice at the Toronto Supercross this past Saturday. Broc injured his T7 vertebra and has been under the amazing care of St. Michael’s Hospital where Dr. Howard Ginsberg performed surgery to repair damaged vertebra.
“Broc’s surgery was successful and we are wishing him a speedy and 100% recovery,” said RCH Racing team co-owner Carey Hart. “We can’t wait to see him healthy and back racing.”
“I’m extremely bummed about Broc’s misfortune in Toronto,” added co-owner Ricky Carmichael. “The most important thing is his health and taking every step to ensure his comfort and recovery. All of us couldn’t be more proud of him and how well he’s been riding. We are looking forward to seeing him get a leg over his bike again soon.”
On behalf of the entire RCH Racing team, we would like to thank the Asterisk medical team, the doctors and nurses on site, during transport and upon arrival at St. Michaels. We appreciate their quick response and undivided attention and care for Broc. We would also like to sincerely thank the fans and the industry for their thoughts and prayers.
