New owners pour $600K into New York dealership
Since Larry Brooks and Jeff Coughlin purchased American Twin Harley-Davidson in Painted Post, N.Y., and renamed it Corning Harley-Davidson last summer, the owners have been sprucing up the place, spending $600,000 to make it more user-friendly.
The investment has gone to extensive renovations in the service department, showroom and other areas of the store, according to a report from the Star Gazette in Elmira, N.Y. The dealership covers 30,000 square feet of a 55,000-square-foot building; Brooks and Coughlin are looking for a compatible business to lease the rest of the space.
