Custom Chrome cancels Europe Dealer Show
Custom Chrome has canceled its annual Europe Dealer Show for 2012, according to a report from Pro Riders Marketing.
Preparations were being made for the much-anticipated event in Mainz, Germany, but Custom Chrome decided to call off the show due to restructuring at the company’s California headquarters.
“It was a really tough decision to make a break in such a successful series,” Andreas Scholz, Managing Director Custom Chrome Europe GmbH, said, according to Pro Riders Marketing, “but we can not celebrate a party when our parent company is forced to lay off employees. It is our duty to help them in a challenging time, and fortunately Custom Chrome Europe’s business is solid to enable us to help.”
Custom Chrome reported that the cancelation of the show will not affect its Europe business, nor the deployment of the European 2012-13 catalog. Custom Chrome Europe had a record sales year in 2011, according to the report.
