Winnipeg’s Lone Star Harley-Davidson closes
Winnipeg, Manitoba, will be home to only one Harley-Davidson dealership as of October after the owners of Lone Star Harley-Davidson announced the store’s closing.
Lone Star’s Marge Danylchuk told the Winnipeg Free Press that there wasn’t enough business in the area for Lone Star and its competitive Harley-Davidson Winnipeg to both stay in operation.
The business, which is closing after 18 years, is now looking for a new tenant for its building.
Canadian Harley-Davidson distributor Deeley Harley-Davidson reports that Harley-Davidson Winnipeg should be able to handle all the Harley business in the area, though it’s open to considering adding another store in the area.
