Online training program launches for dealers
Peter Jones & Associates and IBSG Dealer Services have launched PowerSport University,net., a Web site designed to offer dealers training. The program runs for $99 per month for the entire dealership, according to a PowerSport University press release.
The classes cover all aspects of powersports opertions. Dealers can sign up and register their students on-line, and the only equipment needed is a phone and a computer.
Peter Jones, creator of PowerSport University, stated, “We looked around the industry and found several other sources providing training but at much higher rates. We knew that in today’s market dealers needed not only better quality training but also needed it at a reduced amount. We decided to take our courses that we deliver around the country and conduct them over the Internet. This will save dealers thousands of dollars in travel expenses and time away from the store.”
