Honda: North American motorcycle sales down in last quarter

Honda’s powersports sales in North America declined in both its last quarter and its entire fiscal year, the company’s financial report said.

Honda’s North American new motorcycle sales fell 14 percent in the last quarter compared to the year-ago period. The company’s overall powersports sales, including ATVs, motorcycles and PWC, declined 8.5 percent in the quarter, which ended March 31.

Overall, the company reported a 1 percent decline in revenue for the quarter and a decrease in net income.
