Dealer survey: Polaris, industry ATV sales are down

Polaris Industries’ ATV sales are down mid single digits while the industry’s overall quad sales are down high single digits, according to a dealer survey conducted by A.G. Edwards & Sons.

The survey was of 35 dealers, including an estimated seven of the top 20 Polaris ATV dealers in the United States. More than 70 percent of the dealers carry Polaris as well as other brands.

The survey also found Ranger sales appear to have increased double digits over the same period as last year.

Victory’s sales also have increased, the survey found. They are up in the mid-teens, including a low-teens increase on a same store sales basis.
