Rinehart Racing joins the 2018 Veterans Charity Ride to Sturgis

Rinehart Racing has signed on as an official sponsor of the 2018 Veterans Charity Ride to Sturgis. This annual group ride to provide motorcycle therapy for wounded veterans will be enhanced this year by the addition of Rinehart’s slip-on exhausts for Indian Motorcycles, manufactured in the United States at their North Carolina facility.

Each year the Veterans Charity Ride takes a group of veterans from all branches of the military on a 10-day ride from Las Vegas to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota. The group will stop in small towns along the way to meet fellow veterans and supporters who want to honor and celebrate the men and women who sacrifice so much for this country. Upon arrival in Sturgis, the veterans are honored onstage at the famed Buffalo Chip, enjoy riding the Black Hills, and are treated to a host of events for a truly unique Sturgis experience.

“What an honor to be able to extend our support to Veterans Charity Ride,” said Judd Hollifield, Rinehart Racing president and CEO. “When we first learned about the work that Dave Frey and his team were doing to help improve the lives of these veterans that sacrificed so much, we knew we had to get on board and support the cause. We look forward to playing our part in this adventure of a lifetime that will change lives for the better.”

Veterans Charity Ride is a non-profit organization that uses motorcycle therapy and other life changing, life saving programs to provide uplifting and healing experiences for the wounded, severely injured and amputee veterans from all branches of service. Each year, the VCR takes a group of veterans on Indian Motorcycles, custom built Champion Sidecars and Trikes from Las Vegas to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota for the adventure of a lifetime. “Our mission at Veterans Charity Ride is to get our wounded veterans back into the environment so they can once again experience life,” explained Veterans Charity Ride founder, Dave Frey. “This new partnership with Rinehart Racing will assist us greatly with our mission. The experience of riding motorcycles or riding in a sidecar is life changing for these veterans, and to have some Rinehart performance exhausts on some of the bikes in our fleet will greatly enhance the experience for all involved! Thank you Rinehart Racing for your commitment; it means a lot to us and we look forward to a long and healthy partnership!”
