Parts distributor closes distribution warehouse

The western Canada aftermarket parts and accessories distribution business just got a little more interesting with news that a distribution company has decided to close its warehouse in Alberta.

According to an email to dealers, Motovan Corporation announced that it has closed its Edmonton warehouse effective immediately. The distributor of brands such as Zox Helmets, Olympia, Quadrax Utility, Slasher Performance, Five Gloves, TCX boots, SHOEI Helmets, ProSportBags, SHOT Race Gear and STI Tire and Wheels continues to maintain its warehouse and operations in Boucherville, Quebec.

Motovan had acquired Edmonton-based Steen Hansen Racing (SHR) in 2011. In 2016, Motovan acquired Corona, California-based MTA Distributing.
