Dealership opens new facility for Riding Academy, storage

A Harley-Davidson dealership in Appleton, Wisconsin, recently added a 20,000-square-foot building to house both storage and a Harley-Davidson Riding Academy, according to the Post-Crescent. Appleton Harley-Davidson owners Terry and Joshua Doughty reportedly spent $2 million on the new multi-use facility, which includes an outdoor training range.

“We see this as a risk and an opportunity,” said Joshua Doughty.

“As motorcycle enthusiasts, we want more people to enjoy motorcycling. We want them to go through the class and have as much fun as we do,” added Terry Doughty.

The Post-Crescent reported that weekend classes began Saturday, May 13, and will run through fall as weather permits.
