2,000 motorcycles expected at Mecum’s 2027 Las Vegas Auction
Mecum Auctions is already building the motorcycle lineup for its 2027 Las Vegas event, with consignments now open for what the company bills as the world’s largest vintage and antique motorcycle auction.
The four-day auction is scheduled for Feb. 3-6, 2027, at the South Point Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The 2027 event will mark the 36th year of Mecum’s Las Vegas motorcycle auction.
Mecum expects approximately 2,000 motorcycles to cross the auction block during the 2027 event. With consignments already coming in, the auction company is encouraging sellers to secure their positions early.
For dealers and collectors with vintage or collectible motorcycles to sell, the Las Vegas auction provides an opportunity to reach a global audience of motorcycle enthusiasts and collectors.
The event has also become a major venue for high-dollar motorcycle sales. The 2026 auction produced several record-setting results, including a 1968 Honda CB750 Prototype that sold for $313,500, which Mecum identified as the most valuable Japanese motorcycle ever sold at auction.
Mecum’s record-setting run in Las Vegas began even earlier. In 2025, a 1915 Cyclone V-Twin sold for $1.32 million, becoming the most valuable motorcycle ever sold at auction at the time.
