The NASCAR Foundation partners with bike riding program for children

The NASCAR Foundation is partnering with All Kids Bike to place kindergarten PE learn-to-ride programs in 50 schools. The partnership includes a giveaway of a one-of-a-kind 2021 Harley-Davidson Road Glide FLTRXS customized by Steve and Rusty Wallace of Southern Country Customs. For participants that are not motorcycle enthusiasts, a $25,000 cash option is also offered.

Sweepstakes proceeds support the All Kids Bike mission to teach every child in America how to ride a bike in kindergarten PE. Every $10 donation is good for one entry to the prize drawing and teaches one child to ride a bike.

“The NASCAR Foundation is excited to collaborate for the first time with All Kids Bike,” said Mike Helton, chairman of The NASCAR Foundation. “Joining forces with programs that have core values similar with our own is invaluable. It will be an incredible opportunity to give back.”

The All Kids Bike Kindergarten Learn-to-Ride Program consists of a 24-fleet of bikes, pedal conversion kits, fully adjustable helmets, a teacher instruction bike and certified curriculum teacher training. The program and the equipment included is designed to teach kids how to progress from balance to riding a bike in eight lessons.

“We are excited to collaborate with NASCAR Foundation and legendary NASCAR driver Rusty Wallace to help give more kids the opportunity to learn to ride a bicycle,” said Lisa Weyer, executive director of the Strider Education Foundation. “Together we are giving children a reason to smile and making a difference to future generations.”
