H-D dealer celebrates first Sunday open in Missouri
Last summer, a Missouri law went into effect that allows motorcycle dealerships to be open Sundays in the state. Gail’s Harley-Davidson in Grandview, Mo., received many more customers than expected when they extended their hours this past weekend, according to a report on Fox 4 KC.
Owner Gail is excited to share some of the Sunday business that had to shop across the state line in previous years: “We absolutely were losing business to the Kansas side. So much more business than I ever imagined. Today proves it,” said Gail.

This was never a big deal as most Kansas side powersports dealers have traditionally been closed on Sundays. Only a fairly new HD dealer in Olathe started with Sunday hours. More likely MO dealers will face competition from each other now.
