ADP Lightspeed named Premier Partner by American Honda

American Honda Motor Co., Inc. president and CEO Tetsuo Iwamura has presented the company’s Premier Partner Award to Greg Smith and Dave Johnson of ADP Lightspeed for excellence in providing business management solutions to Honda dealers across America.

ADP Lightspeed was one of 15 award recipients selected from more than 1,000 American Honda associates nationwide.

“We are honored to be partners with Honda and to accept this award,” said Greg Smith, general manager at ADP Lightspeed. “We have enjoyed the longevity of this partnership and are anticipating many more years of mutual benefits. For nearly three decades, Honda has played an important role in helping make our Dealer Management System a superior product and service for the end user. We value this partnership and are excited to see it continue.”

The Premier Partner Awards were established in 1998 to recognize suppliers who embrace American Honda’s philosophy of exceeding customer expectations. This year’s award winners represent excellence in a variety of industries, including logistics, transportation, marketing, consulting and security.

“Today we acknowledge an outstanding group of suppliers who exemplify Honda’s philosophy of delivering the highest possible value to our customers through quality products and customer service,” said Gary Kessler, American Honda’s senior vice president of Human Resources, Administration and Corporate Affairs. “With all of the different facets of our business, we appreciate the outstanding support from these dedicated organizations and thank them for their contribution to Honda’s success.”

  1. Honda must not have even asked any of their dealers if they were happy with an overpriced outdated system, administered by an unresponsive top heavy company that doesn’t care about the users……..hence 45 minute hold times for support ……..Once again Big Red showing how out of touch they are…….hmmmm….sounds like lightspeed ……..birds of a feather

  2. Some at honda have to much time on their hands. Perhaps they could use it to come up with some new products before Polaris completely eats their lunch ! Lightspeed is in the same mindset. Zios is better and much less expensive.

  3. Hi, this is Dave with ADP Lightspeed. At Lightspeed we take very seriously the comments of our customers and members of the powersports community. I’m not sure that “top heavy” is the correct term, however it is true that it takes a considerable amount of organization to effectively support 3000 dealers in three markets as opposed to a only a few in one market.

If dealers are experiencing issues with ADP Lightspeed we would like to help. Our customer support group is always available at
800-521-0339 or you can e-mail me direct at dave.johnson@adp.com. I would be glad to assist you in any way to help you become more efficient and profitable.

    Best Regards,

    Dave Johnson
