Roland Sands Design launches spring 2018 apparel line

Roland Sands Design launches its spring 2018 apparel line with a focus on armor expansion, innovative materials, warm weather specific garments and unique styles that perform as well as they look.

The all new Perforated Waxed Cotton collection perfectly combines classic tried and true materials with modern, technical function for warm weather riding. RSD has developed an innovative laser perforation process, which allows for strategically-placed perforated panels to increase airflow and breathability that keeps the rider cool in warm conditions.

“This new process gives us the ability to offer the classic waxed cotton styles that the brand is known for in innovative versions that will perform in warm weather,” said brand director Rob Ramlose.

The 2018 Fresno Riding Shoe combines a skateboarding design with protective motorcycle functionality.

To increase the protective levels of their apparel, RSD is partnering with premium armor supplier Knox. All jacket styles in the Spring 2018 collection will come equipped with Microlock elbow and shoulder armor by Knox.

“We couldn’t be more excited to be aligned with Knox for 2018 and beyond. They are a leader in protection technology and their new Microlock product line will be a great addition to the RSD collection.” Ramlose added.

RSD is also expanding their footwear product line for Spring 2018 with the addition of the Fresno Riding Shoe. The concept is a classic old-school skate shoe design language integrated with modern motorcycle function.

In the leather jacket category, RSD announces the launch of the all new Rockingham Jacket. Featuring premium soft and supple oiled buffalo leather, unique quilt-stitched design lines and premium Knox Microlock armor, the Rockingham is ready for action.

“We’ve remained focused on delivering a lifestyle friendly collection that doesn’t compromise function. This is an idea we will continue to develop and one we feel you will appreciate,” president Roland Sands said.
